We now have an immediate opening for a Human Resources Assistant at our corporate office in Lexington, KY.
Responsibilities Include:
• Assisting all employees with questions regarding HR, benefits, and payroll.
• Assisting and advising branch management on HR policy issues.
• Verifying and inputting all new hire information into HRIS.
• Processing and reviewing drug testing and background checks.
• Updating HRIS with all employment actions for corporate office and branches.
• Maintaining all active and terminated employee files.
• Maintaining schedule of performance appraisal, processing notifications, and verifying approvals.
• Conducting verbal and written employment verifications.
• Producing and distributing monthly headcount report for branches.
• Processing monthly invoices for payment.
• Maintaining and updating direct deposit information for corporate office and branches.
• Maintaining I-9 records.
• Planning and coordinating employee events and functions.
Requirements:
• Three years of experience in Human Resources or Administrative Support and/or a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, degree preferred.
• Successful candidate must be success-oriented, a team player, detail-oriented, and highly ethical.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with Kronos HR software and Crystal preferred.
