| Description: | Florida Tile is one of the nation’s leading tile manufacturers and distributors. Three years ago, Florida Tile was acquired by Panariagroup, one of Europe’s largest tile manufacturers and distributors. Panariagroup has invested in plant expansion, branch remodels, and branch relocations to strengthen and grow Florida Tile’s share of the US tile market.
Our Northwest division has a newly created opportunity for an Architectural Sale Rep to join our team! The primary focus of this position will be to build relationships with architects, designers, and other trade related businesses throughout the Seattle, Portland, and Eugene markets. This position will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining customer relationships with builders, commercial contractors, dealers, and other professionals in the construction and remodeling industry. Successful Reps will drive the top line to meet or exceed sales goals, while maintaining profitability through appropriate pricing and accounts receivable follow-up. This position will be based out of our Seattle branch and will require some overnight travel.
The ideal candidate for this position will be self-motivated, enthusiastic and goal-oriented. Strong candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of experience calling on architects, including experience educating customers on products and usage. Some post-high school education is preferred. Past sales experience in Portland and Seattle is a plus. Candidates must have a professional demeanor and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the desire to deliver exceptional customer service. Experience in the floor-covering industry or related building products is a plus. Successful completion of drug test and background/driving record check required.
