Assistant Branch Manager (Dayton)

Description:We currently have an opening for an Assistant Manager at our Dayton branch. The Assistant Manager will partner with our Branch Manager to help the branch reach its full potential.
Duties:Some of the Assistant Manager’s responsibilities include: managing the branch when the Branch Manager is away; helping the Branch Manager establish and maintain strong customer relationships; helping supervise day-to-day operations; and helping hire and train new employees. Other responsibilities include monitoring branch product and supply inventories and ordering/purchasing replenishments; answering customer inquiries in person and over the phone regarding product availability and pricing; assisting customers with tile selection and purchase; processing special orders; following up on overdue customer accounts receivable; and performing other administrative tasks related to branch operations.
Qualifications:Strong candidates for this position are those who are high-energy and highly organized, with excellent people skills, strong communication skills, good math skills, and a demonstrated track record of successfully applying those skills on the job. Strong candidates will also have experience in customer service, sales, administration, and supervision. Work experience in floor coverings, building products, remodeling or construction industries is a big plus.

We offer a Mon-Fri daytime schedule (except for one ½ day on Saturday most months) , salary+commission, benefits after 90 days, and opportunity for advancement. Drug test and background check required.
